14.Peak Zone Settings

Configure and enable dynamic pricing during high-demand periods in specific areas using Peak Zone logic.

📍 Admin Path: Home → Price Management → Zone

✅ Steps to Configure Peak Zone:

• Enable the Peak Zone toggle

• Fill in the following required fields in the zone details:

  • Peak Zone Ride Count*: Minimum number of rides needed in a zone to trigger peak status

    • Example: 2

  • Peak Zone Radius*: Radius (in kilometers) within which the ride count is evaluated

    • Example: 3

  • Peak Zone Selection Duration in mins*: Time frame to monitor ride count

    • Example: 15

  • Peak Zone Duration in mins*: Duration the zone remains active once peak is triggered

    • Example: 15

  • Peak Zone Surge Percentage*: Extra fare percentage applied to rides in the peak zone

    • Example: 20%

• Click Save to apply and activate Peak Zone settings.

💡 Note: Once active, the Peak Zone Surge Percentage is automatically calculated and collected from the customer during fare estimation and final billing.
