9.Rental Package Types

Create and manage rental packages tailored to different transport types such as Taxi or Delivery. These packages allow users to book rentals with predefined time and distance limits.

Rental means the ride is based on a fixed time and distance with a base price. For every extra distance beyond the free limit, Distance Price will be charged, and after the free time ends, Time Price per Minute will also apply. This structure ensures clarity and predictability in rental fare calculations.

📍 Admin Path: Home → Price Management → Rental Package Types

✅ How to Add a Rental Package:

• Click the “Add” button.

• Fill in the following details:

  • Transport Type*: Select the applicable transport mode (e.g., Taxi, Delivery).

  • Name*: Provide a name for the rental package.

  • Short Description*: Enter a brief summary of the package.

  • Description*: Provide detailed information about what the package includes.

• Click Save to finalize the rental package.

💰 How to Set Rental Package Price:

📍 Admin Path: Home → Price Management → Set Price → Under Actions, choose "Set Package Price"

Click the Add Package button and fill in the required fields:

• Package Type*: Select from the list of rental packages created under Rental Package Types. The names you added there will appear here as selectable options.

• Base Price*: Enter the starting price for the package.

• Free Distance (Miles)*: Define the included distance without extra charges.

• Distance Price*: Price per extra mile/kilometer beyond the free limit.

• Free Time (Minutes)*: Define the free usage time included.

• Time Price per Minute*: Price per extra minute after the free time.

• Cancellation Fee*: Set the applicable cancellation fee.

Click Save to apply and finalize the rental package pricing.
